Held since 1992, the IEEE Haptics Symposium (HAPTICS) is a vibrant interdisciplinary forum where psychophysicists, engineers, and designers come together to share advances, spark new collaborations, and envision a future that benefits from rich physical interactions between humans and computers, generated through haptic (force and tactile) devices. In 2016, this conference will be held in central Philadelphia, one of the most historic and beautiful cities in North America. HAPTICS 2016 will be a four-day conference with a full day of tutorials and workshops and three days of conference activities including technical paper presentations and hands-on demonstrations.
