Short Biography
Yaser Gholizade is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with a multidisciplinary background in applied mathematics and computer science. He received his B.Sc. (2009) and M.Sc. (2012) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Tabriz, Iran. He earned his first Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Azerbaijan Shahid Madani University in 2017, where his research focused on wavelet-based image processing.

After completing his Ph.D., he worked as an AI researcher in a project funded by the National Elites Foundation in Tehran (2017–2019), developing deep learning–based object detection algorithms for vehicle detection in urban traffic management systems. He later joined MAGFA as a Machine Learning Engineer (2019–2021), working on automated web crawling and anomaly detection using machine learning techniques.
In 2024, he obtained his second Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Catania, Italy, focusing on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). He has also worked as a researcher on intelligent transportation systems and real-time positioning data analysis using camera and GNSS data.
