Marco Blanchini graduated in law in 2017 from the University of Trieste with a thesis on "Legal and Political Profiles of Governance." In 2018, he received his Master in Intelligence from the University of Calabria.

From 2019 to 2022 he worked as a research fellow at the University of Udine's patent office, and since 2020 he has been working with the University's Master in Intelligence and ICT.

He is currently a doctoral student in the National PhD in cyber security, with a project related to the cognitive characterization of fake and manipulated media under the supervision of Prof. Mauro Barni. He is a member of the Visual Information Privacy and Protection Group (VIPP).
