Short Biography

Lydia Abady earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Lebanese International University (LIU) in Saida, Lebanon, in 2010. Her thesis focused on Home Automation, specifically on “SMS and Ethernet-based Remote Control for Home Appliances.” She then pursued a Master’s degree in Computer and Communication Engineering, also from LIU, which she completed in 2012. Her Master’s thesis was in the field of Signal Processing, titled “Joint Channel Estimation and Synchronization in the Presence of CFO and SFO for OFDM Systems.”

Lydia further advanced her academic journey by obtaining a Ph.D. from the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Siena (UNISI), Italy, in 2023. Her doctoral research, under the guidance of Prof. Mauro Barni, focused on the forensics of synthetic images.
