Lydia Abady received her BSc in Computer Engineering from the Lebanese Internation University (LIU), Saida, Lebanon, in 2010 with a thesis in the field of Home Automation titled “SMS and Ethernet based remote control for home appliances”. After that she received her MSc in Computer and Communication Engineering from the Lebanese International University (LIU), Saida, Lebanon, in 2012 with a thesis in the field of Signal Processing titled “Joint Channel Estimation and Synchronization in the Presence of CFO and SFO for OFDM System”.

She is obtained a Ph.D. from the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics of University of Siena (UNISI), Siena, ITALY in 2023. She is currently doing research on forensics of synthetic images under the supervision of Prof. Mauro Barni. She is a member of Visual Information Privacy and Protection Group (VIPP).
